Sponsored by Timothy Kent Gallery & Framing,
as well as Billy Stroud and Tony Ragusa

Opening Reception: Friday, June 2, 5:00-7:00pm

Blush features figurative sculpture in ceramic and bronze by local artist Rick Harney. These works will be on display in the Arts Center's Armstrong Gallery through July 15, 2006.

Rick Harney studied art at Illinois State University. He is well known for his sculpture commissions: the Lincoln sculpture outside the McLean County Museum of History, the John Wesley Powell and Minor Myers sculptures at Ames Library at Illinois Wesleyan University, and the Adlai Stevenson sculpture at Central Illinois Regional Airport.

The works included in Blush portray a more personal and private side of the artist. These studio works investigate with humor the foibles and follies of modern man.

Join us for a free opening reception on Friday, June 2, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
